I hate to look sloppy at work. In my opinion, if you look scruffy and too casual in the office everyone will assume your work is as haphazard as your appearance. I found my jobs got a hell of a lot better when I stopped wearing combat trousers and trainers and started wearing silk shift dresses. This may just be true of the fickle world of television, but the pleasure of getting together an outfit for work in the morning is always something worth waking up for.
