HALF PREPPY, HALF NOT

I'm not entirely sure this outfit works, but I wore it anyway. I like the jeans, loafers and socks together, but the top half needs to be different. Perhaps an oversized shirt next time for a more pulled together preppy look? That said I'm not sure I will ever these loafers again because I forget that THEY ARE MURDER. Seriously, after 3 or 4 years they still lacerate my heels. These bastards just don't seem to get worn in.

Lord knows I'm not averse to leopard spots in my wardrobe, but I've got to say that snakeskin feels like the perfect update on animal print. I think I've already mentioned how much I love these Zara trousers, but seriously, I'm still totally enamoured with them. The ankle swingyness is perfect.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with a shiny oversized jumper when you are in a rush and want to give the illusion of dressing up when in actual fact you are in your sloppiest clothes. CHRISTOPHER KANE GALAXY PRINT

My spoils from the Christopher Kane sample sale - this mens hoodie. Loving it. There are not many things in life that are worth a 90 minute queue, but I've got to say this probably is one of those rare things. Even my Grandma, living in a care home in Jarrow, recognised this top as something awesome. Does that say more about the top or the fact that my Grandma is amaze?

It was ruddy cold in Newcastle. Ended up buying H! Henry Holland boots in the sale to keep me warm. I always forget that up North is way colder than down South. Luckily, all the high street shops have all the good stuff for far longer than London, hence more spoils.
